SFS, parent company of GESIPA Blindniettechnik GmbH, is acquiring Tegra Medical, a US company based in Franklin, Massachusetts and expands its supplier business in medical device industry.
Tegra Medical is a leading development and production partner for the growing medical device market worldwide. The products are mainly made of metal and plastic and they are used for instance in orthopaedics or surgery.
With around 700 employees Tegra Medical generates sales of approx. USD 80 million. Due to the acquisition SFS strengthen its position in the market of medical device industry.
