Careers at GESIPA®
Machinery and Systems Operator training
As a trainee Machinery Operator, you will learn how to operate machines within our state-of-the-art production facilities independently and will be taught how to
work with their specifications. Trainees complete the programme at our modern training centre at our site in Thal (Thuringia).
Length of training programme
The training to become a Machinery Operator at GESIPA® generally takes 2 years. You will need to have completed your GCSEs (or equivalent) before you can start a training programme to become a Systems Operator.
The vocational college for the Thal/Ruhla site is in Bad Salzungen and the course content is taught in blocks there.
Likewise, the vocational college for the Olpe site is close to the training centre.
As a trainee Machinery Operator, you will complete plenty of practical exercises on the systems so you can learn how to operate them and how to respond in the event of a fault. You will also be taught how to ensure that the production process runs smoothly.
