Marketing Communications Assistant

Length of training programme
The training to become a Marketing Communications Assistant with us generally takes between 2.5 and 3 years. You will need to have completed your A Levels (or equivalent) before you can start the training programme with GESIPA®.
During the programme, our trainees have lessons at the vocational college 1 or 2 days a week. On the remaining days, their training is practical and they have the chance to put what they have learnt into practice.
As part of the vocational training programme to become a Marketing Communications Assistant, our trainees work on independent projects within their own department and across others. For example, they will get involved with the design of the website and printed media as well as the planning and organisation of events and so much more.
The training to become a Marketing Communications Assistant covers all aspects of marketing – from the traditional media and the vast field of online marketing to event planning. The main requirement is that you are a creative person. If you also enjoy working with other people, then the Marketing department is probably the one for you. Our trainee Marketing Communications Assistants complete most of their training within the Marketing department itself, but they do also have the chance to get involved with other departments (such as Sales, Buying and HR) so they can gain a deeper understanding of what their colleagues do in other areas of the company.
