Our commitment
Education is the cornerstone of our society and not least of our economy. That is why GESIPA® is involved in many different educational areas, whether it is providing the employees of our business partners with optimal training and education opportunities.
We are committed to providing training opportunities, offering pupils a perspective on working life, and supporting universities in their efforts to attract students. Find out more about our commitment to education here.
Brose method rooms
In order to offer employees at Brose® perfect job training conditions and to ensure a good workflow, 'method rooms' were developed by Brose® together with GESIPA®. The rooms were equipped by GESIPA® with the appropriate riveting teaching aids. The first method room was created in 2015 at the Brose® plant in Hallstadt, another training room is now also located at the Brose® site in Coburg.
GESIPA® UK - women in engineering
At our UK site in Keighley, GESIPA® is part of the "Women in Engineering" Day. This is an information day to introduce young women to the technology segment or engineering as an option in working life. Since the proportion of women in this field is still relatively low today, it is important for us to make girls aware that not only men can enjoy technical careers. Female GESIPA® employees show local students both, the company and their respective personal careers. In addition, GESIPA® also tries to provide parents with an idea of the career opportunities in the engineering sector for their daughters.
Project ThinkTech
With a project called 'ThinkTech', 6-7 companies provide students of the Albert Schweitzer-Gymnasium, which is close to our Thuringian site, with insights into the factory. As we consider that it is very important to prepare students for their future working life, GESIPA® Thal is part of the project. At the beginning of the project, students first get to know each department before starting to work on an individual technical project for 2 hours a week. The in-house workshop and the teamwork together with our apprentice's offer perfect conditions for the students.
