Riveting and screwing in one step
The innovative G-Fast® technology allows you to create a non-permanent connection with ease in no time. The new patented "blind rivet nut screw system" from GESIPA® combines a blind rivet nut, washer and screw in one pre-assembled system, making it possible to drive a high-quality
thread into thin materials while securing a component at the same time. This saves an entire production step. Thereby combining the riveting and screwing process and reducing the assembly time down by as much as half.
Savings of up to 50%
The new patented G-Fast® combines a blind rivet nut and screw in a single fastener, making it possible to drive a high-quality thread into thin materials while securing a component at the same time. As a result, you can dispense with an entire production step as well as an assembly site, processing tools and associated processes. The method only requires access from one side – perfect for those hard-to-reach locations. The resulting screw connections are also non-permanent – an invaluable advantage compared to other mechanical joining methods. The G-Fast® offers a high level of flexibility in production process design as well as cost-effective synchronised mass production involving special requirements. Integrating the screwing process into riveting can cut your assembly time down by as much as half.
Speedy, straightforward and efficient
The GESIPA® G-Fast® System uses conventional battery-powered screwdrivers already employed on assembly lines. All you need is an adapter customised for the joining element and the application. Because it uses manual screwdrivers and customisable joining elements, the G-Fast® can be used anywhere that non-permanent connections are required in short assembly processes.
Step 1: Position the components and the G-Fast
Step 2: Start the setting process via the torque
Step 3: Set the blind rivet nut and drive in a high-quality thread
Step 4: Screw the components together and generate the preload force
Step 5: Loosen the screw connection
Step 6: Exchange the joining element
Step 7: Retighten the screw connection
