High-quality roof boxes for maximum storage space

Roof boxes are a practical solution for expanding a vehicle's storage space.

GESIPA®: a reliable partner in production
 

To ensure that it meets its own high quality standards, Hakr relies on proven blind rivet technology from GESIPA®. Stable and precise riveted joints are essential, particularly when it comes to manufacturing the roof boxes, to guarantee that the products are both durable and safe.

Blind rivets:

For the assembly of its roof boxes, Hakr relies on GESIPA® PolyGrip multigrip blind rivets measuring 3.0 mm to 3.2 mm.
These are made from a combination of aluminium and steel and are sometimes fitted with a large flange to guarantee a secure and resilient connection.

In addition, coloured blind rivets are used to ensure an attractive appearance and harmonious integration into the design of the roof boxes.

Rivet tools:

  • TAURUS® 1 pneumatic-hydraulic rivet tool
    with central locking and foot switch ensures comfortable and efficient handling.
  • TAURUS® 2 pneumatic-hydraulic rivet tool
    is in use with around five tools and handles about 80% of the production tasks.
  • FIREFOX® 2 pneumatic-hydraulic blind rivet nut tool
    specially designed for blind rivet nuts to ensure secure and resilient connections.
  • Birdie®
    ideal for hard-to-reach places because it can be operated without compressed air.
  • GAV 8000 ECO automatic blind rivet processing
    significantly speeds up the riveting process and increases production speed.
